A storm front has moved into the Motherlode.
The ground was still dry in Sonora by 2:30 Thursday afternoon, callers from Jackson and Angels Camp reported substantial amounts of rain.
Then, during the 3 o´clock hour, the rain started in Sonora.
Some snow is also expected at the higher elevations… but sunny weather is expected by the weekend.
