Among the collection of this week´s election races that are still too close to call… is the race for Measure L.
It´s the measure that, if passed, would sell 250-million dollars in bonds for construction projects at San Joaquin Delta Community College.
In Calaveras County, Measure L failed, receiving 62 percent No votes.
But Sacramento, Alameda, San Joaquin and Solano counties also had Measure L on the ballot. It needed 55 percent overall to pass, and thanks to receiving 55.2 percent Yes votes, supporters are cautiously happy.
However, with the still-uncounted absentee and provisional ballots, it turns out Measure L is another race that´s still too close to call.
