The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will be talking money this morning… during their mid-year budget session. They´ll be considering revenue adjustments and expense adjustments to the year´s budget plan. Also, the county Auditor-Controller will present facts and figures regarding cash flow.
In a memo about today´s hearing, administrator C. Brent Wallace says, because of a miscalculation of the Vehicle License shortfall, even more money that was expected now won´t be coming from the state of California. Between that miscalculation… and a decrease in local revenue… it looks like Tuolumne County´s general fund will be almost 900-thousand dollars short.
That meeting gets underway at 9am, at the county administration building.
