A 24-year-old Oakley man is in trouble with police in an alleged online sex scam that began over what is being described as a “family dispute.”
Oakley police arrested George Anthony Paiva yesterday in Manteca on suspicion of posing online as a woman he knew. Police say he invited men to come to the woman´s house to have sex with her.
The woman, who has not been named, filed a police report after she was contacted by a man who said he thought the two had arranged a date for sex through an Internet dating service.
The next day she was contacted by another man claiming to have chatted with her on the Web site. A third man went to her home, but she wasn´t in.
Oakley police say Paiva was apologetic over the alleged incident and cooperating with investigators
