Many students and friends turned out yesterday to say goodbye to a longtime friend of the Motherlode, Ron Arington.
During a public memorial service Sunday at the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s posse grounds in Jamestown, it was standing room only as the Mother Lode said goodbye to the long-time Sonora High School ag teacher.
Arington — who died from injuries sustained in a ranching accident in Chinese Camp — was 58.
