Utility Work To Close Section Of Sonora Roadway

Sonora, CA – Utility work will close a section of a Sonora roadway this weekend.

PG&E has hired Summit Line Construction out of Roseville in the Sacramento area to repair power poles. The work will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in the area near 141 Elk Drive, between Shaws Flat Road and McCormick, west of Highway 49 Drive. A crew will be conducting the repairs during the daylight hours.

Traffic control will be in place along with signs. Motorists can detour on McCormick Drive.
