Four people were slightly injured Sunday night in an accident on Highway 49 near Lombardi Drive in the Mokelumne Hill area.
78-year-old Georgia Bever of Mountain Ranch was southbound on the highway and allowed her vehicle to drift into the curb. She lost control of her 99 Mercury, which hit a Toyota pickup, driven by 21-year-old Keith Etter of Mount Shasta. Bever´s car finally overturned, pinning her inside.
Bever and her passenger, 66-year-old Thomas Coplay, went to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital with minor injuries. Etter and his passenger, 26-year-old Alisha McMaster complained of minor pain and refused treatment. His two other passengers, a 10-month-old and a 23-year-old were not hurt.
