Sonora, CA—PG&E equipment repairs will close a section of a downtown Sonora roadway next week.
The utility has hired Summit Line Construction, out of Sacramento, to complete the work. Crews will repair power poles near 140 Summit Avenue off Hope Lane, east of Highway 49/North Washington Street. The work will get underway on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at various times throughout the day. Traffic controls and signage will be in place.
