If you´re considering a career in firefighting, the local units of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection are currently accepting applications for Seasonal Fire Fighter positions for the 2005 fire season.
They´re looking for people to fill Fire Fighter I positions, which fight fires, repair equipment, and respond to all kinds of emergency situations.
Candidates must be 18 or older, and in good physical condition.
Applications will be accepted through the end of January.
You can pick them up at your local CDF station or on the web at www.fire.ca.gov.
