Look for flags today.
Today is Veteran´s Day, and despite the wet, rainy weather, ceremonies will be going on today, and some government offices will be closed in observance.
Federal and state offices are closed today, as is the post office, the courts, and public libraries.
Most city and county offices will be closed too, along with public schools.

The Veteran´s Day Parade has been cancelled, due to the weather, according to Tom Slaght, Commander of the VFW Post 4748.
But veterans can still take time to honor those who served our country at 10:30am at the Tuolumne Veterans Memorial Hall in Tuolumne.
The Groveland American Legion Post 300 will conduct their ceremony at 11am, at Laveroni Community Park.
The Native Daughters of the Golden West Princess Parlor in Angels has a spaghetti dinner planned for tonight at 6:30pm at the International Order of Odd Fellows Hall on Main Street in Angels.
And Ironstone Vineyards has a fundraiser tonight, to benefit Operation Military Support, a non-profit group that works to provide troops overseas with letters and gift items.
Thursday night´s speakers at Ironstone are Sgt. McKenna Hutchinson, a counter-intelligence agent; Sgt. Shawn McCann from the 101st Airborne; and Calaveras County´s own Sheriff Dennis Downum, who spent seven months in Iraq training civilian police officers.
