Sonora, CA — In addition to work planned today on Old Priest Grade, roadway striping will take place over the coming weeks in various other parts of Tuolumne County.
The contractor, Central Striping Services, will be doing the work. Crews will prioritize higher elevation locations first. There will be minor traffic delays in the vicinity of the work, as the stripes will be painted onto the roads. Public Works warns that freshly painted stripes will be wet, so it is best to avoid driving over them.
There will be construction signs and potential traffic controls in the work zones.
We reported earlier that Old Priest Grade is closed today until noon for the work.
