A new poll finds that two-thirds of Californians believe it´s likely that problems at the polls nationwide will call into question the results of the presidential election.
According to the nonpartisan Field Poll released today, 30 percent of registered voters in California said it was very likely polling problems could cast doubt on the winner.
Thirty seven percent said it was somewhat likely.
Only 29 percent believe it was not likely.
Separate polls show the race between President Bush and Democratic Senator John Kerry is neck-and-neck heading into tomorrow´s election.
Almost one-fifth of those surveyed in the Field Poll — 18 percent — had little confidence that the declared winner will have won fairly.
Thirty-five were very confident the election result would be fair and 42 percent said they had some confidence.
