The Tuolumne County Economic Development Company has had official goals set by the county´s Board of Supervisors.
Before July of next year, 21 goals established Tuesday must be met, or county funding could be pulled from the organization.
Executive Vice President Elizabeth Jones says the EDC isn´t sighing with relief just yet.
“I don´t believe it´s a sigh of relief until we get through the step where they have requested that a task force be put together, and… they put a 120-day sunset on the appointment,” Jones said.
Now, Jones says, they´ll start working on ways to increase their membership, which is one of the EDC´s stated goals.
Also, planning for business classes and informational luncheons can begin now.
Jones says they´ve had to hold off while the funding and goals were straightened out.
