Tuolumne County law enforcement at this hour searching for a man suspected in a drug operation in the Priest Coulterville area.
Sheriff dispatchers say the Hispanic man — reported armed and wearing olive drab fatigues — fled from officers this morning after a raid of a suspected marijuana garden south of Groveland.
The suspect was last see running up a drainage toward Jack Ass Creek Road in the area.
Tuolumne Narcotics Taskforce members have one person in custody in connection with the raid around 8 this morning about 3 miles south of Highway 120 on Priest Coulterville Road.
Mariposa Sheriff deputies are joining in the manhunt. A helicopter is also being brought in.
Expect to see a lot of police and emergency personnel in the area of Priest Coulterville road this morning.
