Groveland firefighters quickly contained a small brush fire burning near Big Creek Shaft Road.
It was first reported around 1:15 p.m. this afternoon, contained an half hour later. An investigator is being called in to determine the cause.
Fire crews will be out there for a few more hours mopping up.
