Jamestown, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the deaths of two people outside of Jamestown, but notes that foul play was not suspected.

The sheriff’s office reports that 29-year-old Sierra Dawn Scott and 46-year-old Tonny Anthony Stone were found deceased in Stone’s RV that was parked on a property on French Flat Road.

The sheriff’s office notes, “The cause of death for both individuals is still under investigation. At this time, we do not believe these deaths were the result of foul play. We are awaiting the results of an autopsy and toxicology testing, which will help investigators determine the cause and manner of death.”

No additional information has been released at this point, as the sheriff’s office concludes, “Because this is an active investigation, we are not able to release additional details at this time. We will provide further information as it becomes available and as the investigation allows.”
