The failure of a winery owned by Congressman George Radanovich has left company directors with nothing but worthless stock.
And according to a six-month investigation by The Fresno Bee, the winery´s remaining principal assets are now in the hands of Radanovich and a Fresno developer.
Unhappy investors told the newspaper they were misled or cheated by the five-term Republican from Mariposa.
Radanovich refused to be interviewed for the article, but in a fax to the Bee, his chief of staff said Radanovich had done nothing wrong.
