The U.S. Agriculture Secretary is calling the three-day global biotechnology conference in Sacramento a success, saying that new partnerships between corporations and developing countries will help in future research. The conference has been marked by vocal protestors, who demonstrated against genetically modified foods and the lowering of trade barriers.
