U.S. Congressman George Radanovich says he won´t run for the Senate. The Mariposa Republican says he still has an interest in statewide politics, but now doesn´t seem to be the time to be doing that “from a family perspective.”
Political analysts doubt that a conservative GOP member from a small town could win a statewide election.
The fact that Radanovich won´t run means there are no Republicans now ready to challenge Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer in 2004.
