The State Assembly has canceled hearings tomorrow and Wednesday. Assembly Democrats will instead travel throughout the state to urge support for tax increases to help solve the state€™s record budget deficit.
Republicans still haven€™t budged, saying they won´t accept any plan that includes higher taxes.
Lawmakers are working against the July First start of the new fiscal year.
