Yosemite National Park and Inyo National Forest held a dedication ceremony for Orientation Exhibits last week.
A dedication ceremony was held for the new orientation exhibits installed at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center, at the YARTS bus stop at Lee Vining, and at the Inyo Forest Administration Office located on the Hwy. 120. An Interagency Agreement signed in May, 2002, between Yosemite National Park and Inyo National Forest, initiated the project designed to enhance the visitor information and services available in the region.
The exhibits were provided through a grant from the Yosemite Fund. Representatives at the ceremony included Mike Tollefson, Superintendent of Yosemite National Park, Jeff Bailey, Inyo National Forest Supervisor, JoAnn Ronci, Mono County Supervisor, and Lisa Dapprich, Project Manager for the Yosemite Fund.
