A Valley Springs man has been arrested and charged with domestic battery and shooting a firearm in a “grossly negligent” way.
The Calaveras County Sheriff´s office says 26-year-old Clayton McDonald had a fight with a female at a residence on Cox Drive in Valley Springs. Investigators also say that McDonald fired two shots from a handgun near the residence. The bullets did not hit anyone.
McDonald is being held on $35,000 bail.
