Assembly Bill Hopes To Keep Kids Safer

A parent who allows a young child to ride in the front seat of a car could be fined up to $250 under a bill approved by the state Assembly. Supporters say the bill would reduce the risk of injury or death to the child when there´s a traffic accident. The measure now moves to the Senate.
