Passengers at San Francisco International Airport were evacuated from a plane being loaded for a flight to Hawaii when a small explosion occurred in a cargo hold. No injuries were reported. Airport officials say the explosion this morning appeared to involve the battery pack for some electronic gear. It blew the hinges off a shipping container in the hold of the United Airlines plane.
