HMO signs Contract

Health Net of California and Catholic Healthcare West have signed a two-year contract. The move will allow as many as 120,000 Northern California patients to keep their current doctors and hospitals. It comes a week after state regulators said the HMO could start severing ties with the hospital chain because of stalled contract negotiations.
