A community water issues conference is set for this weekend at Columbia College.
Around 50 panelists and speakers are expected to be there, to share their ideas about hydroelectric power and the Tuolumne Utilities District, as well as other Sierra Nevada water issues.
Experts say that communities like Tuolumne County need to take a look at water conservation methods like low flow toilets and recycling water.
The water conference starts at 8:45 AM on Friday and resumes at 9:00 AM on Saturday at the college. ThereĀ“s no charge for admission.
