Police in Stockton exchanged gunfire with occupants of a car after a traffic stop last night that left one suspect dead and an officer wounded. The stop somehow led to drawn guns and police shot and killed one of the car´s occupants. Police say a sergeant was shot in the leg and hospitalized, but was expected to recover.
