A Lodi man has been arrested in connection with what authorities are calling a “substantial” meth lab in Valley Springs.
40-year-old Tiberio Chaves was arrested last week during a traffic stop for possession of methamphetamine. Calaveras County Sheriff€™s Deputies say their investigation led them to a trailer on Rose Street which police say was home to a large meth lab. Three adults and four small children were living there.
Chaves was booked into the Calaveras County Jail. The other two adults fled with their children. More arrests are expected.
