Columbia College is exploring what is currently happening in our local art community by hosting a public art show, titled “What´s Up?”
The show is scheduled to run from April 7 through May 7 in the Rotunda of the Manzanita Building on the college campus. “We want to know what our area artists are thinking about and doing,” said Jim Leitzell, coordinator of Columbia College´s art exhibits. “Artists should bring their favorite piece, which best displays their interests.”
All forms of media are encouraged, but only one entry per artist will be accepted. Entries should be delivered to the Rotunda on Thursday, April 3 between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday, April 4 between 10 a.m. to noon. No admission will be charged for viewing the community art exhibit, but the Manzanita Building hours are Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
