The results are in and Columbia Elementary School´s $3.6 million bond measure has failed, by about 8 votes.
The measure fell just short of the 66.66% majority needed to pass. It received only 66.12% approval.
The final count was 937 yes votes, 480 no votes.
The School District had been hoping to use the money to construct a new multi-purpose building, classrooms and make other school improvements.
