Sonora High School was locked down for about half an hour this afternoon.
School officials decided the extra security was a good idea after receiving reports of a man walking near the school with a gun. Sonora Police were on the scene and didn´t find anything unusual. Police did not ask for the lockdown, school officials made that decision on their own.
The school was locked down from just after 3:00 PM until about 3:30 PM.
