Slick and icy roads caused a number of accidents in the Mother Lode Saturday morning.
Injuries reported in a vehicle rollover accident on Highway 108 at the east entrance to Long Barn. CHP reports one of the occupants suffered a dislocated shoulder in the crash.
The Westbound lane was blocked for a time following the 9 a.m. mishap.
A non-injury crash on Parrotts Ferry Road south of Moaning Caverns had traffic backing up around the same time. Firefighters provided traffic control around that scene.
Emergency units headed to the report of a car into a creek off 22000 block of Loungeway Road at Lucky Strike. Fire, ambulance and CHP responded. That part of roadway near Twain Harte is notorious for being icy in the mornings. It was the scene of another injury accident earlier this week.
