A vehicle careened over the embankment of Highway 108 west of Twain Harte and burst into flames this morning.
First firefighters on the scene just before 10 a.m. say the vehicle was nearly fully engulfed when they arrived.
There are conflicting reports on the number of persons involved with this solo rollover accident. Initial reports had one person ejected and another trapped in the burning vehicle.
CHP´s Spokesman Tom Wills says he is only able to confirm the one person who was ejected and sustained serious injury at this time.
The slow lane of west bound Highway 108 on the Twain Harte Grade was closed until investigation completed and the vehicle removed.
