Steel beams are going up for two medical office buildings in Sonora.
The privately owned medical offices are being built on property sold by Sonora Community hospital next to the new hospital’s campus on Greenley Road. The structures will be home to several members of the hospital’s medical staff. A 12,000 sq foot, single-story structure will be home for two area physicians and built next to the 25,000 square feet two-story structure. The framework is being built by Mid-State Steel Erectors from Stockton.
The buildings should be open by early spring.
