Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Lt. John Steely says 51-year-old Michael Linan was under a restraining order to stay away from Ruth Samanavich.
Linan allegedly approached her at the bar Sunday evening and cut her face with a knife, then cut himself before some other people there intervened and held him down until sheriff´s deputies arrived.
