It was all about school spirit Friday afternoon.
Washington Street was closed around 2 p.m. this afternoon for the Sonora High School homecoming parade could make its way through the downtown.
Hundreds gathered along the street as Class Floats with a Disney Theme, homecoming kings and queen candidates, cheerleaders on a fire truck and decorated cars and trucks as well as the Golden Regiment Band. The band put on a concert at Court house Park completed the annual celebration.
The Sonora High Wildcats play host to Manteca High tonight.
