Fall is in the air in the Mother Lode. As cooler temperatures finally call for a sweaters in the evening or an extra blanket at night, fall sights, sounds and smells are all around. Leaves are just now starting to turn color and, of course, bright orange pumpkins are available to buy.
Temperatures in the region are expected to stay cool at night with lows in the low 40s to low 50s, and daytime high temperatures to be in the pleasant upper 70 degree range.
