Another debate on tap tonight. Candidates in the November 4th Tuolumne Utilities District board of directors race will face-off in a debate at the Memorial Hall in Tuolumne City.
“EJ” Jones with the Economic Development Company of Tuolumne County, a co-host of the debate, says the election is critical for our area. “We have to make the right decision for this,” Jones said. “We have five diverse people that are running. I´m glad we have a good field to run and I think we have to listen carefully to their positions and what they think we should do for the future.”
The two incumbents and three challengers will answer questions and debate on current water issues. The event from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. is open to the public.
