In a story you saw here first, local Congressman George Radanovich has now scheduled what he´s calling a “listening session” in Sonora next month. The public hearing and information session is to discuss with the public the reoccurring smoke and air quality issues in Tuolumne County during fire season.
Assemblyman Dave Cogdill of Modesto will co-host the hearing.
Officials and representatives from local, state and federal agencies have been invited to participate, including the U.S. Forest Service.
The meeting will be held in the Manzanita Building at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds Tuesday, Dec 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
