Debris Burn Causes Brush Fire

Calaveras County fire crews were called in Tuesday afternoon to extinguish a debris burn that had spread into surround grass and brush.

The fire off McKinney Diggins Road and Sheep Ranch Road outside Murphys was burning in a area that was difficult to access by firefighters. A inmate fire crews was also called in to battle the blaze.
