A Vallecito man is in jail after hitting a deer.
Highway Patrol reports 43-year-old Grover Inks was riding his motorcycle on Highway 4 near Ansil Davis Road when he collided with a deer.
The crash caused him to lose control of the bike and fall-off. Officers arrested him for suspicion of DUI. He was treated at Mark Twain Hospital for his injuries.
