8 Down, One To Go In California

All but one of nine wildfires in California have been fully surrounded. The state´s largest wildfire, a 25-thousand-acre-blaze east of Yosemite National Park, is 60% contained. More than 1,400 firefighters continue to battle that blaze about 90 miles south of Reno, Nevada. Three people have died in the crash of an air tanker fighting it. During the past week, California brush and forest fires covered a total of 46,200 acres and burned 17 homes and cabins.
