Headwaters Forest Reserve near Eureka has been released to the public. A series of public meetings also has been scheduled.
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management and California Department of Fish and Game co-manage the reserve near Fortuna. They´ll accept public comments until August 29th.
The report describes a range of management alternatives for the 7,500-acre forest reserve which includes stands of thousand-year-old redwoods.
