A 19 year old Sonora woman is being treated for major injuries, and her 22 year old passenger for moderate injuries, after an accident on Highway 108 yesterday.
Highway patrol officers say Shantel Marie Crook´s car was blocking the Highway at Wamble Road just before 1:00 p.m., when it was struck broadside by an oncoming van and pushed into a stopped Pickup truck. Crook was taken to Doctors´ Hospital, and her passenger, Stephanie Aleo, is at Memorial. Passengers in the other vehicles had minor injuries.
