The Tuolumne County “Habitat for Humanity” program will be looking for donations and volunteers Saturday.
Director Frank Smart says the annual “Radio-Thon” fund raiser produces more money each year for the program. One feature of the event is the “Buy-A-Stud.”
You can sign the stud and write a note, once you´ve made your donation. Smart says it leaves a lasting impression, as the personal message becomes part of the home´s framework as the house is built.
The “Radio-Thon” gets underway at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of True Value Hardware on Mono Way in Sonora.
