A Living History Day is planned for Angels Camp May 4.
The family fun event on Main Street at the visitor´s center is sponsored by the Angels Camp Business Association. The afternoon and evening celebration features the “business persons Frog jump”. Finalists will go to the Annual Calaveras Jumping Frog Jubilee May 19. Organizers promise live music, an 1850´s costume contest and barbecue dinner.
Gun fights by the “Sierra Nevada Guns for Hire” will take place throughout the day. Call the visitor center for more details.
