Two women were booked on burglary, and grand theft charges after Calaveras County deputies found stolen jewelry in their possession.
Authorities reported 40-year-old Karen Alberts of Sutter Creek and 32-year-old Brandi Cannam of Camino had taken the jewelry from a Jenny Lind storage unit. Highway Patrol officers spotted their vehicle in Valley Springs.
