Two civilians have been arrested on drug and weapons charges during a military live-fire exercise at Twentynine Palms Marine Base.

Theodore Murrish and Steven Floyd were found in a van right in the middle of the range yesterday. Military police say the two had marijuana and methamphetamine. They have been booked for investigation of trespassing, possession of drugs and possession of a loaded firearm.

Both have been released from jail. Floyd is a construction worker, and Murrish is an electrical contractor. Both are 47.
