Searchers have located an aircraft in Sequoia National Park that may be the plane that vanished carrying a Visalia pilot and three teen-agers.

Park spokeswoman Kris Fister says the plane was found before noon in rugged terrain at about 65-hundred feet.

It was not immediately clear if there were any survivors.

Rescuers have been looking for a plane piloted by Patrick Carey that disappeared Saturday. Carey was flying three teens from his church on a tour over the Moro Rock area of the park.

Family members of the missing were gathering at an airport hanger in Visalia.
