Plane Search Resumes Today

Published Apr 9, 2002 7:35 am : Updated Jan 31, 2009 5:29 pm

A search is expected to resume this morning in Sequoia National Park for a small plane that vanished with a Visalia pilot and three teens on board. Overcast weather forced authorities to postpone the search yesterday.

Forty-three-year-old Patrick Carey was piloting the Piper Cherokee with three passengers, Bobby Crane, Justin McClain and Jason Tilley. The three 15-year-olds are students at Golden West High School.

The plane was on a sightseeing flight Saturday when it disappeared.
